Professional hype girl for women who want more
Our founder & ceo
Brittany Neish has always been the person in the room who sees what other people cannot see in themselves. The one who watches someone undersell their story and thinks, “no, that is not right, let me show you what I see”. Long before she had a business, she had a gift for helping people understand their own value, and a marketing brain sharp enough to know exactly how to make the world see it, too.
Throughout her 15 + years in marketing, media, and advertising, she learned how to position a story, capture attention, and make something impossible to ignore. When she combined those skills with a Master's degree in Positive Organizational Development and Change from Case Western Reserve University and certifications in Emotional Intelligence, Team Effectiveness, Experiential Learning, and Change Management, something clicked.
The science of human potential and the strategy of smart marketing were not two separate things. Together, they became the most powerful visibility tool she had ever seen, and she had been sitting on it the whole time.
She built What You Do Matters because she knows firsthand what it feels like to have people in your corner who see you clearly, champion you loudly, and lift you up when you cannot quite see it yourself.

Our mission
We deeply believe that what you do matters. Not just to you, but to your family, your team, your community, and the little girl somewhere watching you go after it and deciding what is possible for her too.
When a woman steps into her value, the ripple effect is real and it is felt. She doesn’t just change her own life. She changes the lives around her. Research consistently shows that when women rise, they bring others with them. They invest in their communities, they mentor the women behind them, and they lead with a level of compassion and impact that makes everything better.
This is why we want more women to be visible, recognized, leading, and going after what matters most to them.
And yet there is a massive visibility gap standing between the value women bring and the recognition they deserve. It’s the space between what you do and whether anyone knows it. Between where you are and where you are capable of going.
This is why What You Do Matters exists. We know this work goes deeper than a LinkedIn post or a polished elevator pitch or even generic personal branding advice. When a woman owns her value and gets visible enough to act on it, she does not just change her career.
She changes everything she touches.
